This is love

This is love, originally uploaded by elefanterosado.

After a fun romp across the paddock under mommy’s watchful and protective eye, Windsong & Cleo pause for a moment of repose.

It’s good to be three days old.

I am so happy for you and your family on the birth of your gorgeous foal. Not only is your mare a timeless beauty, but Windsong’s sire is an absolute hunk of gorgeous Welsh dynamite! That is some combo for sure!

Many thanks Marie. Such a pleasure, always, when you stop by my blog. You’ll laugh when you hear that I named Windsong for that cheesy 1970s perfume commercial. (We’re the same age, so I know you will probably remember it.) “I can’t seem to forget you, your Windsong stays on my mind.” That’s what I sing to him whenever I see him. 🙂 Bailef is an amazing pony and has accomplished many impressive things.

That is so funny! That’s exactly the commercial I thought of when I heard the name.! Love it, though! Best of luck to you and your new little one!

Isn’t it ridiculous? It just came into my head one day and I couldn’t shake it loose. As my neighbor put it: “Um, if it had been your kid, you’d have kept that story to yourself!” True. 🙂
